Spinach salad with Fennel & sunflower sprouts- both add super nutrition and help with hormone balance, sauerkraut- adds live probiotics for good gut flora, and sprinkled with bee pollen for a boost of micro-protein and subtle sweetness.

Paleo Focaccia Bread: 1/2C almond flour, 1/2 C tapioca flour, 4 eggs. Add Carmelized onions, olives and minced garlic to the top. Heat in a cast iron skillet until batter starts to firm then transfer to oven. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until top browns. Slice and enjoy straight from the skillet!

Although it has been nice not getting my period, after 5 months it becomes a worry. Your period is way for your body to detox and without it those toxins that normally release once a month are backed up. Low estrogen has also been linked with low serotonin levels which is a neurotransmitter that regulate mood and appetite and helps regulate sleep cycles

No shame sharing about Candida.

I recently have been going through health issues. I getting stabbing pains when I eat and terrible migraines pretty much every day. I have gone several days without pooping and I am constantly bloated- go figure. My energy levels have been shot, I get dizzy often, and I haven’t had a period in over 5 months. 

After going through rounds of blood work, a colonoscopy and endoscopy 

the only thing truly significant she has found is that my body has an incredible over growth of candida yeast.

Candida is a naturally occurring yeast and a normal range in the body is measured from 0- 1.9…. my level is at 34.6. 

I am 21 and I have developed hypothyroid, anemia, and have the estrogen levels of a woman going through menopause.

and all of these things… (although not fully supported by modern western medicine)… can be influenced by candida overgrowth.

As a way to move forward, heal myself, and connect with others who may be experiencing similar autoimmune struggles, I am going to share about my efforts in treating my symptoms
